When the Time Comes

On the wake of the fourth day, the skies were still dark and the dense cloud of fog and contaminated gas was still resting on the streets. Coming out of the crawl space was more a necessity than a move of courage.  It was an urge, lead purely by hunger and thirst.  A need to avoid starvation.

It was the first time in more than a week, give or take a day or two,  that I was out of my secluded, dark and damp space, my protective crawl hole. I was out of provisions and alone. Forced into this NWO (New World Order), post earth-defying-traumatic-devastation.  What to expect? Who knows….

Packed with my Gas mask and all belongings in my sling messenger bag, I head into the darkness, not knowing what to expect, this is my first day out…… the first day of the rest of my life!

I was waiting to post this image for the longest time.  Always waiting, because the time was not right to post.  Then I posted it …. and apparently the time was wrong….. so now I am posting again. No more waiting, because the right time won't come.  The right time is NOW. The story, well the story I just created it, that was spontaneous

is this an omen of what is to come ?
your story gives me goose bumps.. and not the nice kind..
you really did a lot of work with this one +Ricardo Williams the torn shirt.. the wounds on your arms.. the dark background with smoke.. pretty damn eerie.. and verging so very close to the truth of what could very well happen in all of our futures.. well done.. well done indeed…
